One of the most common questions in Ultimate is: How do we make our sport more inclusive? There isn’t a single answer, but Disc Diversity has a powerful proposal—one rooted in action and radical change.

A Mission for Change

Disc Diversity is dedicated to increasing Black representation in Ultimate by creating meaningful opportunities for Black players and youth. Their vision is to:

• Provide Black players with the same resources, support, and opportunities that have historically helped White players succeed in Ultimate.
• Establish an unprecedented support system for Black youth, ensuring they have a space where they can develop, thrive, and feel truly included.
• Offer a community where Black athletes, parents, and supporters can engage in the sport without barriers.

This mission isn’t just about playing Ultimate—it’s about transforming the culture of the sport and setting a new athletic standard for equity and inclusion.

To further this mission, Disc Diversity is organizing their next Con10ent Tour, a week-long Ultimate summer camp in South Africa in December 2025. This initiative will bring 20 players together, supporting their travel for an unforgettable development experience. The tour will include clinics for all skill levels and end with Disc Diversity's signature showcase game, highlighting top talent and celebrating the program's impact. Help us make this tour a reality by supporting our fundraising efforts!

More than Just a Jersey

We’re also launching the Paradise Crane jersey in our replica store. Designed by South African artist and Ultimate player Marcus Sebego, it features the Blue Crane, South Africa’s national bird, with “indlulamthi” across the chest—Xhosa for Paradise Crane. The design reflects the idea that paradise isn’t a place but the people around you. The jersey also includes "BOTHO" in Setswana, meaning "humanity," emphasizing community and connection in Ultimate.
